  • Watercolour Wednesday

    This 8 week Watercolour class offers instruction in watercolour techniques, learning how to use these techniques and completing small projects focusing on exploring and experimenting with watercolour over course of the term. The course will discuss how to use brushes, learn about paper types, tricks and tips. The term will culminate in creating a final masterpiece. All products are supplied. The term will be spent alongside like minded people, sharing laughter, friendship and give you much needed creative time.

    You will be guided to create & develop your own unique art, exploring, building layers & depth, trusting your own intuition which in turn builds self-confidence.

  • Oil Painting With Creativity And Confidence

    Raylene is an experienced art teacher and highly regarded in the world of Textile Art bringing a wealth of knowledge & techniques to her classroom, teaching step by step so as not to overwhelm.

    This course offers an introduction to oil painting with a focus on the painting rather than the drawing.

    Key concepts include the following…

    Understanding of basic colour and composition.

    Values of colour and colour mixing.

    Tonal under painting.

    Attention to detail.

  • Experimentation & Play with Art for Primary School Students

    Everyone is creative and there are so many ways to be creative. You do not need to produce a work of art, just experiment and play.

    Develop art knowledge and skills; Explore the love of art; Value the students own unique creative style; Develop the confidence to run their own 'art race' and not compare themselves to others; Creating & understanding colour wheel; Pencil drawing using grid; Understanding values.

    Spots are strictly limited.
