Explore vibrant alternatives to traditional oil painting backgrounds. We’ll be blending, dripping, scraping and splattering watercolours, inks, and acrylics—adding texture with stencils, bubble wrap, tissue paper and even snippets of old books or fabric. It’s messy, freeing, and surprisingly beautiful.

Now it’s time to put your skills into action.
Carry forward the techniques that sparked joy—or discover something entirely new—as you develop a finished oil painting that reflects you.
