  • Flic Miller

Experimantation & Play with Art Primary School

I am a primary teacher in Swan Hill. My favourite subjects to teach are Art and Maths. My dream job is to be an Art Teacher so...YAY!! I love making stuff! I have loved creating for as long as I can remember - drawing, painting, crochet, embroidery, writing, sewing, I love having a go at anything creative!

I find lots of inspiration for art in nature. I love painting birds, flowers, leaves and landscapes. I've recently started painting portraits, very tricky but I'll keep at it!

  • Kristen Cowland

    Watercolour Wednesdays

I come from a creative family, art in some form has always been a part of my life. I did evening pottery classes in primary school with my sister, sewing, cake decorating, pencil drawing and metal work. I was introduced to acrylic decorative painting and folk art in my 20’s. I started selling at markets and teaching, I then joined a co-operative where I sold and taught folk art.

  • Nina & Wendy

    FOUNDERS

It all begins with an idea.

The philosophy of the Dandy Lion Studio is that everyone should be given the opportunity to experience creativity/art without the pressure of producing a masterpiece, but rather viewing art as a way of releasing what is inside through our hands.

Nina & Wendy are very excited to be presenting an art experience especially designed for those who think

“they don’t have a creative bone in their body”
